A historically popular dish also known as cottage pie, our shepherd’s pie is made with grass fed ground beef and organic veggies for a complete and easy meal. Minced or ground meats are easier on digestion postpartum and the veggies are twice cooked - first steamed then baked - to provide for optimal absorption. Rich and creamy mashed potatoes are nutrient dense, full of key minerals and antioxidants; paired with whole milk, butter, and cheese they provide a healthy dose of fats for the breastfeeding mother.
